GDPR –  video surveillance

SUNREEF VENTURE S.A. informs you that video surveillance (monitoring that records images through the use of CCTV cameras) is used throughout the site and operates continuously. Recording of the image through video surveillance occurs when the person, whose personal data (image) is being processed, enters the premises.

According to art. 13 of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter referred to as GDPR), we hereby inform you, that:

  1. The controller of your personal data obtained from video surveillance is company SUNREEF VENTURE S.A. with its seat in Gdańsk, address: ul. Tarcice 6, 80-718 Gdańsk, Poland, registered in the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register held by the District Court Gdańsk–Północ in Gdańsk, 7th Commercial Department of the National Court Register under KRS no. 0000611783, NIP: 5223059783, REGON: 364163013, share capital 39.100.000,00 zl (paid in full), having the status of a large entrepreneur. Contact regarding personal data is possible via e-mail:, in writing or in person at the Controller’s seat.
  2. Video surveillance covers SUNREEF VENTURE S.A.’s business premises, located in Gdańsk – at ul. Doki 1 and at ul. Tarcice 6 – both outdoor areas (entrances and exits, traffic routes, yards, etc.), as well as buildings and facilities (entrances and exits, corridors, staircases, lifts, office premises, workshop premises, warehouses, production halls, production yards, etc.). Video surveillance does not cover hygiene and sanitary premises, changing rooms (cloakrooms), canteens and smoking rooms.
  3. Video surveillance recordings containing personal data are recorded and stored by the Controller for
    a maximum period of 60 days since the date of recording. The storage time depends on the number of events and the capacity of the recorder’s disk (drive) – once the disk (drive) space is exhausted, the data is automatically overwritten. Only the image is recorded and saved (no sound). In cases provided for by law, recordings may be stored for longer (e.g. for evidential purposes).
  4. The legal basis for the processing of personal data is art. 6 sec. 1 point (f) of GDPR, where the legitimate interest of the processing of personal data and the purpose is to ensure security, the protection of persons and property, as well as keeping the confidentiality of confidential information, as well as to ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules and work order.
  5. On the terms specified by law, you have the right to request from us: access to your personal data, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, the right to object to processing of personal data, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
  6. Recipients of your personal data obtained from video surveillance may be persons and entities that process personal data on behalf of the Controller (e.g. employees, co-workers, associates, subcontractors, security personnel). Additionally, your personal data may be provided to institutions bodies, authorities and other entities in the event of a legal obligation to provide them.
  7. Providing your personal data is voluntary, but necessary to enter SUNREEF VENTURE S.A.’s premises and sites. Failure to provide personal data entitles us to refuse your entry to SUNREEF VENTURE S.A.’s premises and sites.
  8. Your personal data recorded by video surveillance are not transferred to third countries (i.e. outside European Economoic Area – EEA) or to international organisations. We do not carry out automated decision-making, including profiling, on the basis of the monitoring data.
