A ceremonial milestone has recently been marked in the construction of the Sunreef 43M Eco, a next-generation eco superyacht currently under build at Sunreef Yachts’ shipyard in Gdańsk.
The ceremony, rooted in centuries-old maritime tradition, included the placement of a symbolic silver coin beneath the mast. Minted by the Gdańsk Mint, the coin bears the name of the legendary knight Zawisza Czarny and represents protection, strength, and good fortune for the vessel and her future crew.
This moment highlights not only the progress of the project, but also the shipyard’s continued respect for the traditions that remain an integral part of modern shipbuilding.
As construction advances, the Sunreef 43M Eco stands as a testament to the fusion of innovation, sustainability, and craftsmanship.
