DESCRIPTION

The impressive 2011 DAMRAK II is an upgraded version of the DAMRAK launched in 2009. The yacht is the sixth unit of the uber-popular 70 Sunreef Power model in production since 2008. The 70 Sunreef Power DAMRAK II was designed by the Sunreef Yachts’ design studio with the kind assistance of Laurent Bourgnon, the famous French sailor and owner of a Sunreef catamaran named JAMBO.

It was constructed to be a stylish, fast, and stable power vessel. The streamlined hulls help to take advantage of wave power and reduce fuel consumption, especially when combined with low draft and the catamaran’s light structure.

The cockpit of the 70 Sunreef Power DAMRAK II is furnished with a large dining table, sofa, chairs, resting mattresses, a wash basin, and a small handy refrigerator. Supplies for longer voyages or water toys (such as water scooters, Seabobs, swim platforms with ladders, and scuba diving equipment) for pursuing transoceanic adventures can neatly be tucked away in storage compartments under the cockpit.

Sunbathing mattresses can be found in the bow section, allowing guests to enjoy beautiful sights. From the cockpit, there is easy access to the saloon that features a dining-room and a fully equipped kitchen (inclusive of a four-zone induction cooker, microwave oven, two electric ovens, large refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, wine chiller, ice dispenser, storage compartments, and a bar-table).

In the mid-ship section, there is a lower helm station which leads to the owner’s cabin located in the foredeck section. It is well-furnished with a king-size bed, desk, sofa, night tables, and a bathroom located in the starboard hull. The panoramic windows offer spectacular views.

On the other hand, the lower deck contains exclusive spaces: a VIP cabin with a king-size bed and two double guest cabins – one with a double bed and another one with two single ones. These are all equipped with luxury amenities, ensuite bathrooms, TV sets with DVD players and Bose Lifestyle sound systems, and large windows providing breathtaking scenery.

The furniture onboard was made of exotic Weng wood and light beige upholstery from Alcantara which was enriched with golden and red accents, giving the décor a vivid character.

The flybridge, which is Sunreef’s trademark, houses the second helm station, a cocktail bar with two bar chairs, barbecue equipment, a dining table with sofa and armchairs, sunbathing mattresses, and a water scooter lowered with a special hoist. The guests can also enjoy the jacuzzi or relax under the retractable bimini roof, which allows to adjust the light.
