In celebration of the Singapore Grand Prix, Sunreef Yachts and Hong Seh hosted an intimate evening on Wednesday, September 28th, honouring future 60 Sunreef Power Eco owner, Fernando Alonso.
The gathering welcomed yacht owners, clients and friends to Dolce Vita at the Mandarin Oriental in Singapore. Two-time Formula 1 champion Fernando Alonso made time away from his training for the upcoming race to join the event, creating a memorable moment for all the guests in attendance.
During the evening, Alonso shared his personal vision of electric yachting and highlighted how Sunreef Yachts leads the way in responsible design without compromising on luxury. He explained that Sunreef is the only shipyard that takes sustainability to a very serious level, combining advanced green technologies with the lifestyle expectations of modern yacht owners. For him, the multihull platform is equally important as it offers exceptional comfort, outstanding stability and unlimited possibilities for personalisation.
Hong Seh Marine began its collaboration with Sunreef Yachts in August 2022, becoming the official dealer of the Polish luxury catamaran builder. The agreement includes Sunreef Yachts’ full range of sailing and power multihulls, as well as the new Eco range of solar-powered luxury catamarans for the promising Singapore market. This partnership reflects a shared vision of luxury and sustainability, while strengthening opportunities for eco-responsible boating in Asia.
Established in 2002, Sunreef Yachts has over 20 years of expertise in designing and building custom high-end catamarans. With its latest focus on solar energy and green propulsion systems, the shipyard continues to set new standards for sustainable yachting. The evening held during the Singapore Grand Prix was both a celebration of innovation and a preview of the future of luxury boating.
